Used as an alternative to mounting brackets, threaded studs can be mounted directly to hatches or other mounting
surfaces in applications where the mounting surface is made of metal or another material with the strength to
withstand the forces of a gas spring attachment point
Choice of Attachment Points and Finish
Threaded studs are available with “Ball” or “Blade” gas spring attachment points, and a choice of materials, including
zinc plated steel, or stainless steel.

Mounting Brackets are used as attachment points for gas springs on hatches and other mounting surfaces where:
• Mounting surface material is not strong enough to support direct attachment of gas spring using a threaded stud
• The angle and position of the attachment point requires the need for a mounting bracket
Choice of Pem Attachment Ball Pem Points and Finish
Mounting brackets are available with Blade Pem or Ball Pem gas spring attachment points, and a choice of materials and
finishes, including zinc-plated steel (with or without black painted finish), stainless steel, or aluminum.
