This training lays the foundation for a consistent, inclusive and legal hiring process at Goodwill-Easter
               Seals. It covers the importance of hiring the right people, behavioral interviewing, realistic job previews,
               and onboarding execution. Attendees will practice the application of situational-behavioral-interviewing
               skills and other important hiring concepts.

               FUNDAMENTALS OF MANAGEMENT

               Fundamentals of Management (FOM) is essential training for all GESMN managers.  Learn more about
               how the GESMN’s philosophy shapes our approach to management.  Topics include performance
               management, coaching, documentation, and legal compliance.  Managers will also learn how to handle
               requests for leaves of absence and reasonable accommodations, along with other common HR
               procedures.

               LEADERSHIP TRACKS

               LEADERSHIP TRACK 1

               For newly-hired or newly-promoted managers with less than five years of management experience.
               Leadership Track 1 is a mix of internal and external training, required to be completed in the new
               manager’s first year of employment, or in the case of a newly-promoted manager, required to be
               completed in the first year of holding the new managerial position.
