ENROLLING IN KRONOS INTOUCH W/BIOMETRICS
Kronos InTouch uses biometric technology to create a unique finger scan template. It uses your finger
scan template to verify your transaction.

Step 1 – Enroll your finger scan Template

Step 2 – To punch in or out, or transfer, enter your PIN ID

Step 3 – The terminal prompts you to place your finger on the
verification device

HOW IS EMPLOYEE PRIVACY PROTECTED?

Kronos InTouch with Biometric provides verification, not identification. Just as an ID badge or PIN ID
identifies an employee by their employee ID number, the InTouch with Biometrics verifies the
employee’s identity by using their unique finger scan template. The system does not store an image of
their actual fingerprint. It saves a mathematical representation, calls a finger scan template.
