                                        What is Data?

               Data are a bunch of values of one or more variables. Data are the
               collection  of  numbers  or  facts  that  is  used  as  a  basis  for  making
               conclusions. Data are the raw facts and figures to be processed by
               some methods to convert it into meaningful information.

                                      What is Variable?

               A variable is simply what is being observed or measured. Variables
               can take one of a number of  values. A variable is something that
               value varies.

               Example Variables:
               1.      Height of students

               2.      Age of particular group
               3.      Number of students in class

               4.      Marks / grade
               5.      Blood pressure measurement

               6.      Personality scores

               7.      Emotional intelligences measure
               8.      Students marks
               9.      Employee salary

               10.     Number of employee in an organization


               Variable can be denoted by any letter (i.e., X or Y)
