  Examination of a Trevor McDonald documentary on Death Row
                 Individual and group tasks considering various scenarios as to why

                   and when the death penalty should/should not be used
                 Identifying report structure and formulating a response for

                   submission

               Students will learn about New Religious Movements and Cults, what

               their characteristics are, how they differ from conventional religions
               and they will look at several different examples of these groups,

               learning about them and looking at both the religious aspects as well
               as the human nature side to them.

                 Provide  students  up  to  date  with  the  latest  information  on  our

                   changing climate – its global impacts, and, in particular, how we are
                   contributing to the problem here at home.
                 Look at how climate change is causing the displacement of people

                   all  over  the  world,  and  it  how  tends  to  be  the  most  vulnerable
                   people who are most affected.

                 Examine up-to-date attempts to tackle climate change, including
                   the call to action by Pope Francis in his Encyclical Letter, Laudato Si.
