Students will learn about New Religious Movements and Cults, what
their characteristics are, how they differ from conventional religions
and they will look at several different examples of these groups,
learning about them and looking at both the religious aspects as well
as the human nature side to them.
Ms Scannell
Provide students up to date with the latest information on our
changing climate – its global impacts, and, in particular, how we are
contributing to the problem here at home.
Look at how climate change is causing the displacement of people
all over the world, and it how tends to be the most vulnerable
people who are most affected.
Examine up-to-date attempts to tackle climate change, including
the call to action by Pope Francis in his Encyclical Letter, Laudato Si.
