Melissa Core-Caballo's Q&A for Poze Magazine
Your journey from growing up in a
caravan in Australia to becoming a
successful entrepreneur in the U.S. is truly
inspiring. What motivated you to take the
leap and pursue your American dream,
and how did your early experiences shape
your approach to business?
My mother would sleep in quite regularly,
and I was an only child and needed to
entertain myself. I knew how to work the TV a
little, and I would watch RAGE in Australia,
which was like MTV, and of course, so many
American artists were featured on RAGE, and
I would watch their music videos over and
over. I knew I loved entertainment and
dancing from a young age, and as I got older, I
would record RAGE and actually teach myself
the choreography. Mum generally woke up
after 12 pm, so I had many non-school day
morning hours to really dive into music
videos and dance. I would hear the word
AMERICA a lot, and as I continued to get
older, I realized all those music videos I would
dance to were American acts, and from about
the age of 11, I always wanted to be in the USA.
I wasn’t happy all alone for all of those years;
music videos and entertainment through
dance became my happy place, my escape,
and America ended up becoming my heart. So
my goal was to move over to the USA and
dance professionally as soon as I could, and I
did just that at 20 years old. Everything is
psychological, right? And for me everything
was simple—do or die. I didn’t have a choice

my belly that was only growing stronger with
every goal hit. I am still the same today, and
in my business—it's always do or die—I want
the best from our team, clients, and work,
especially myself.
