In 2018, my grandmother passed away, but still, she

is the most encouraging thing that has happened to

me. The memory of her love and care keeps me go-
ing; it keeps me reaching for that one-hundred per-
cent. Though I miss her greatly, I feel she continues

to be with me, watching over me, caring for me, and

loving me as she has always done. In this upcoming
year, I look forward to giving life my all, and I

would encourage others who have experienced what
I have experienced to remember and do the same.

Though her passing was sad to me, I am encouraged
by an old song titled There’s a Leak in This Old

Building. My grandmother had to move on and so
do I. She moved into the next phase toward eternal

life, and I am moving to the next phase of living life
to my fullest.
