Friendsmas

As I reflect over 2018, the most encouraging aspect of the year was the celebration of
Friendsmas. During Friendsmas, my friends and I gave each other encouraging messag-
es, which helped me to see that I was loved and that we were equally yoked in our friend-
ship. Friendsmas taught me to be more confident in my ability of what I can do and re-
minded me of how I can easily spread positivity to others. As I move into the new year
and look forward to more great moments with my friends, I am encouraged to keep in
mind two scriptures. Second Timothy 1:7 says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear,
but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (NKJV). Matthew 18:20 says, “For where
two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them” (ESV). These scriptures
are helpful in choosing good friends and embracing good friendships which will encour-
age us throughout the year.

Grilled Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches
