Supervision Training and Competence
The following represent the minimum standards of training and competence
for those working on or regularly visiting KpH sites.
Evidence of compliance must be presented during on-boarding in order to
work for KpH Deconstruction.
All workers and managers/supervisors on a construction site are to have an
appropriate Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card or similar
industry recognised competency card (CCDO, CPCS, IRATA, CSR etc).
In addition to a CSCS or equivalent card all operatives are also required to
hold Asbestos awareness and Face Fit. All supervisors and above must also
have First Aid, Abrasive wheels and PASMA training.
KpH requires that all supervisors working on their sites can demonstrate that
they have the necessary knowledge and skills to supervise their workers
effectively.
All Sub-Contractors must have a supervisor on site able to manage all aspects
of the Sub-Contract works, and attend Health & Safety meetings as required
by KpH. Such supervisors shall be SSSTS certified or equivalent .
