Dust the Human and Environmental effect
Our Services
Due to the nature of our works dust will be created by various soft strip
activities.
Risk assessments will be carried out for the specific tasks and controls
measure as follows put in place:
• Good ventilation of working area, use mechanical extraction if
required.
• Control of dust suppression techniques, LEV or damping down
(with plenty of water) to remove dust at source
• Operatives to wear FFP3 face fitted masks where risk assessed
(either disposable FFP3 mask of Half mask)
Where dust will be created through the breaking out of screed/
concrete/Plasterboard dust must be controlled where possible at
source . Tools should be chosen with on tool extraction or suppression
fitted direct. Where not mechanical extraction must be used.
Water can be used as a suppression technique must this must be
sufficient to full soak the debris.
