SAFTEY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Boss Projects Group upholds work health and safety to the highest standard and is committed to achieving
this through ongoing communication to its employees and subcontractor’s.
Boss Projects Group manages WHSE through policies and systems and by adhering to current
Government policies and legislation. This is communicated to our employees and subcontractors alike.
Site inductions and tool box talks include the topic of safety by way of discussions and promotion of
material that is relevant to each site specific task and importantly includes any of the associated risks that
may occur within a given Project.
Site Safety reference material is documented in Safety Folders which are located at each project site
office. Site audits are routinely conducted and audited. Incidents are immediately reported to a site
manager and WHSE representative, followed by an incident report which is promptly recorded
appropriately.
Our obligations under WHSE consist of, but not limited to the following;
Management commitment;
Employee involvement;
Rigorous work practices analysis;
Proactive worksite analysis that anticipates and assigns roles and responsibilities and defines
efficient procedures while on site;
Hazard identification, prevention and control;
Induction and task training;
Efficient recording and maintenance of incidents and reporting.
ENVIROMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Boss Projects Group has a commitment to protecting the environment by the establishment,
implementation and continual improvement of our Environmental Management System through full
compliance with AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004.
Boss is committed to establishing measurable environmental objectives and targets and monitoring our
actions, in:
complying with Environmental legislation;
protecting the environment including preventing pollution;
Incident free workplaces;
ensuring environmental issues are considered in all planning and work activities;
making the Environmental Management Systems register known by communicating our
environmental systems, which are used for monitoring and reporting.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Throughout the Project, compliance with all required Quality Standards will be attained. Boss Projects
Group identify quality measures through a Project Quality Plan which specifies objectives, procedures,
procurement strategies, inspections and testing including change management methodologies
throughout a lifecycle of a Project. Boss complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 – Quality
Management Systems.
