WORK HEALTH AND SAFTEY
Boss Projects Group is committed to complying with the Building Code 2016 for the construction
Industry. We build our business on its relationships with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors using the
essential qualities of trust, cooperation, equity and honesty. It adheres to ethical behaviour when
tendering for projects by displaying commitment, honesty and fairness. Boss Projects Group has read
and understood the requirements within the QIC Handbook of Site Rules and Guidelines and our team
has previously delivered projects within the Canberra Centre.
As Head contractor, Boss is committed to only deal with organisations and personnel in the construction
industry whose standards and behaviour comply with the principals expressed in the Code and it has in
place procedures which ensure that it only engages sub-contractors whose workplace arrangements
comply with the Code and Guidelines.
Boss is fully committed to ensuring all projects and consistently completed with a guarantee of quality
and excellence in services, Boss Constructions strives for “Zero Defects” and ensures full compliance
with all statutory requirements and regulations including the Building Code 2016 and Guidelines for the
construction industry.
RISK MANAGEMENT
Boss Projects Group have a well documented and managed risk management system that has
substantial risk management procedures from the tender phase through to the management of defects
and liability period. Our system ensures that all risk for a project are reviewed ongoing throughout a
project and discussed both internally with our estimating team, as well as our client.
This is especially relevant when taking into considerations Construction and Project Management works.
We have a proactive approach to managing all aspects of a project and ensure that each has
documented plan and outlines how the project will be run and monitored ongoing.
We have developed procedures which establish and maintain communication and consultation on
health and safety issues with employees and other persons who work on or visit our construction sites.
This procedure includes all internal and external communication and consultation (employees,
contractors and stakeholders) in relation occupational health and safety issues. Our company has a
strong commitment to safety promotion and encourages open communication and consolation. Boss
Projects Group is not required to establish a Health and Safety committee as we employ less than 30
people. However, Boss is fully committed to effective communication with all employees, contractors
and subcontractors.
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
Boss Projects Group has developed strong operating procedures and has the quality systems to ensure all
its projects are completed successfully and more importantly to the satisfaction of Leidos.
Boss have identified the key goals and objectives in delivering services consistently and to a high standard
and are as follows but not limited to;
