Handover
A week prior to Practical completion Boss will begin a progressive defects and outstanding works close
out list. This will enable our subcontracts to progressively rectify defects prior to practical completion.
Subcontractors will finalise marked up as-installed drawings for the preparation of Final As-Installed
drawings, Warranties and O&M Manuals. The drawings and manuals will be due for the subcontractors 2
weeks after practical completion. Subcontractors will be required to submit to Boss prior to handover all
Certificates of Compliances and Final Inspection reports in preparation for the final inspection to be
performed by the Project Private Certifier.
A handover meeting and inspection by all project stakeholders will be coordinated by Boss prior to
Practical Completion.
Progress Reports and Project Control Group Meetings
Boss will ensure that progress reports are submitted. We will ensure that we contact, arrange and chair
weekly PCG meetings to ensure that all stakeholders are kept up to date on the delivery of any project.
We also use these PCG meeting to communicate and external consultants needs into the project inclusive
of engineers.
We hold regular Subcontractor Coordination meeting on all of our projects to ensure that items discussed
in Stakeholder PCG meetings are communicated to all subcontractors.
Our approach in Delivering the Services on Time
Our project team has the required skill set for this project, and we able to deliver this fit out in the
proposed time frame included in the tender documents. In addition, our company has a large sub-
contractor database we can call upon if required for additional support.
Our dedicated project managers run each project in accordance with our company’ operating procedures
and methodologies. Our project managers are company inducted and are also familiar in the company’s
WHSE policies and practices.
Boss will carefully consider any project risk & provide value management to ensure successful delivery
through Cost Management Strategies.
Stakeholders and Principal
Upon award of the contract, Boss Projects Group will arrange for an initial start-up meeting with the
client representative and key team members and review all the key topics and required outcomes for
the project. The meeting will allow all parties to review the project, program, material selections and
general communication strategies.
Boss encourages the client representative to attend all nominated meetings so that they are fully
informed throughout all stages of project. This ensures that should there be any issues or delays they are
communicated, identified and dealt with promptly to ensure a smooth delivery of the project.
