                                                    Dr. Mohamed Mokhtar  M. Mostafa, Professor of
                                                    Physical Chemistry at the National Research Centre
                                                    (NRC),  Cairo, Egypt and Faculty  of Science  King
                                                    Abdulaziz University (KAU), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
                                                    He has served almost 39 years in research institutes
                                                    and academic universities. He spent  14 years full
                                                    time at NRC, where he started as research assistant
                                                    ۱۹۸۹, then  progressed  to assistant lecturer in 1993;
                                                    next he went on to study for PhD at the Faculty of
                                                    Science, Cairo University, which I completed in1997.
                                                    He then, became a Researcher at NRC until 2003. In
                                                    the period from May 1998 to September 1999 he was
                                                    a DAAD fellow  at  34th  International Seminar for
                                                    Chemical Engineering  and Physical Chemistry,
                                                    Karlsruhe University, Karlsruhe, Germany. He was
                                                    promoted to Associate Professor  in June, 2003  at
                                                    NRC. Since August 2004, he was seconded to KAU as
                                                    Associate Professor at Faculty of Science, KAU. From
                                                    July 2012 to now, he has been Professor of Physical
                                                    Chemistry at NRC and KAU. Prof. Mokhtar research
                    Dr. Mohamed Mokhtar             interest  is in Materials Chemistry;  particularly
                            M. Mostafa              interested  in  the  application  and  properties  of
                                                    nanomaterials, heterogeneous catalysis and catalytic
                                                    materials.  He established the Surface Chemistry and
                     Department of Chemistry,       Catalytic Studies group at KAU. Together with his
                                                    colleagues  at Chemistry  Dept., Faculty of Science,
                      Faculty of Science, King
                                                    KAU, he has contributed to and participated in a
                    Abdulaziz University, 21589     number  of international and national  collaborative

                       Jeddah, Saudi Arabia         scientific projects.  He  has published over 104
                                                    refereed publications and 8 International patents and
                                E-mail:             he has  worked on numerous collaborative projects

                                                    index according to ISI-Thomson Reuters is 26.
