Company Excellence through Matching in Recruiting

The supreme discipline in matching: recruiting

The shortage of well-trained employees - at least at present, at the
beginning of 2023 - mainly affects certain regions and occupational
groups. However, it threatens to develop into a widespread
shortage of skilled workers that threatens the very existence of the
company, so that the "war for talents" will become increasingly
widespread. Business, politics and the media are intensively
dealing with the question of how to succeed in the "war for talents".
This involves recruiting skilled workers from abroad and from
competing companies, qualifying the company's own skilled workers
through goal-oriented training and continuing education, and
promoting a work-life balance through flexible working hours or the
option of working from a home office, and much more. Companies
are challenged to use all channels to attract and retain enthusiastic
and creative employees. This applies to the classic recruiting
channels and, of course, also to social recruiting, for example, to
attract the attention of potential applicants in social networks.
A primary goal is to increase the attractiveness as an employer
and to strengthen the company's name recognition by presenting
itself as an employer brand through the development of an
employer branding strategy. I observe that a matching-oriented
company diligently collects reputation points from potential
employees. A company that does everything it can to ensure that
an applicant's personality, skills and values are a perfect match for
the job, so that the employee feels completely at home in the new
workplace, creates a bond of sympathy. This is an increasingly
central aspect in times of "colorful," diverse, and highly
individualized and individualized life plans and curricula vitae. "The
company is fighting for me, and the decision-makers are doing
everything they can to ensure that I can develop as a co-worker
and as a person in the workplace, that I can express my individuality,
and that I can be a good employee.
