                                                 Cost Savings Through Shared Resources:
The City has the opportunity to discover great efficiencies by leveraging the fact
that many of the team members proposed on this project have been, and will
continue to be, involved in Fire Station No. 9 rebuild. By sharing the resources,
CORE can lower the cost of general conditions as well as attain more aggressive
subcontractor bids. Given the projects would have the same team on both, the
City could eliminate the need for two separate meetings for both Fire Station No.
9 and Fire Station No. 8. These are just a few of the many efficiencies that are
available by utilizing CORE’s resources that are already working on Fire Station

          • We ensure the public is safe by: creating barriers and • CORE understands that while we may be working
placing fencing between them and the construction directly for the City, we have an obligation to utilize
activities, using approved signage for pedestrian taxpayer dollars in the most efficient way to ensure
way-finding, and City approved traffic signage for these funds are being spent responsibly. Using our
