First Aid
4 Section/Location: Gate G Staff Name: Eric EMT Time: 3:26PM
Question
The EMT Eric was standing in the area near Gate G. He was monitoring the crowd and looked ready to assist if needed. Ms. Shopper asked for a band aid and he
simply pulled one out of his vest. He was very helpful and asked if we were enjoying the game. He was very approachable, which made Ms. Shopper feel it wasn't
too silly to ask for a band aid.
RECOMMENDATIONS
1) First Aid could have guests sign some kind of permission to treat form.
2) The only recommendation that I might have for First Aid is to have the cross signs a little bit larger. I saw Blue signage directing the crowds to the
general area, but sometimes the cross designating the First Aid area was difficult to spot.
3) Perhaps the log of those who visit the First Aid stations should be on line for the nurses to see who has been treated and what they were treated
for. It is unknown if fans visit more than one First Aid station during a game, but knowing if the fan had received medication from another First Aid
location might be good knowledge.
4) As one Shopper asked for more Ibuprofen, it might be good practice to ask the fan if they have taken any Ibuprofen/Tylenol previously during the
day. Just to regulate how much to dispense.
