POSITIVE ACTION FORM
This form is issued when a team Member’s performance exceeds the expected standard. There can be
multiple reasons and ways that a Team Member can receive this form:
Coins – Employees receive a coin that says “Great Job” from a guest. DJ will periodically
distribute coins to guests and asks them to give a coin to any outstanding Team Members they
encounter. If you receive a coin please return it to DJ in order to redeem your reward.
Scratchers – Scratchers are in-park food giveaways. DJ will distribute park scratchers in order
to recognize a variety of Team Member performances. These scratches can be redeemed as
specified locations and can award free food and drink items.
Secret Shopper - There will be times that Guests will evaluate Team Members from head to toe,
departments, and appearances. These Guests are anonymous and their identities are not revealed
to Team Members. The secret shopper will choose an Outstanding Team Member that to them
was the most memorable. If a Team Member is selected, they will be awarded and notified by DJ.
Guest Comment Card - Due to not being permitted to accept tips, if a Guest feels that a Team
Member is doing an awesome job, an employee can refer them to Guest Relations to fill out a
comment card. If a Team Member receives a comment card, they will be notified and rewarded.
Employee of The Month - Supervisors and managers will chose an employee from each
department for the Employee of the Month. If a Team Member is selected, they will be notified
by their manager/supervisor and be awarded by DJ.
High Five!!! – Supervisor and Managers will pick one employee each week (1 employee per area)
preferably at the end of the week, to acknowledge them verbally of what a great job they are
doing.
Department Contests - Cliff’s will be hosting department contests throughout the season. Prizes
will be awarded to winners (details vary depending on the department you are placed in).
This form will be filled out by the HR office
when notified of a Team Member’s exceeded
performance.
