Cliff’s Amusement Park reserves the right, for reasonable cause, to monitor visited
internet sites on Cliff’s computers. If a site visited by an employee on a Cliff’s computer
is deemed inappropriate or illegal, disciplinary action up to and including termination could
result.
Cliff’s internet access is to be used for business purposes only. You are not authorized to
post on the internet as a representative of Cliff’s Amusement Park (the only exception is
if management authorizes you to do so.)
Employees are prohibited from using the Cliff’s Amusement Park logo or other identifying
symbol of Cliff’s Amusement Park on the internet.
Through the course of your personal internet use, if you mention that you are employed
by Cliff’s Amusement Park on the internet, you must specifically note that any postings
or opinions expressed are your personal opinion and not Cliff’s Amusement Park’s
position. Express only your personal opinions and never represent yourself as a
spokesperson for the company. If Cliff’s is a subject of the content you are creating,
make it clear that your personal views do not represent those of the company, fellow
employees, customers, suppliers, or people working on behalf of the company.
Please keep in mind that private company information is private property of Cliff’s. Do not
post internal reports, policies, procedures or other confidential communications.
Social Media
Using social media on company provided devices or in any capacity (including on
personal devices) while on company time is prohibited (this includes posting to personal
websites and blogs). Cliff’s Amusement Park recognizes that employees may use social
medial for social networking purposes during personal time and Cliff’s Amusement Park
respects the right of any employee to maintain a personal website, blog or social media
sites such as Intagram, Facebook, SnapChat, etc. However, to prevent such activities
from harming Cliff’s Amusement Park’s interests or reputation, the following restrictions
and guidelines apply to any employee engaged in the use of social media, web bulletin
board/chat rooms, website postings, blogs, etc.
• All rules regarding confidential business information apply in full to all postings.
Any information that cannot be disclosed through conversation, a note or an email
also cannot be posted.
• Supervisors interacting with subordinates on social media are expected to conduct
themselves professionally and to comply with all company policies regarding
interactions with subordinates.
• Social engineering activities that gain private information, such as phishing,
pretexting, and baiting any employee of Cliff’s Amusement Park which negatively
impacts the company’s interests or reputation is prohibited.
