example, if the park opens at 11am, the uniform store is open from 10am-11am).
Uniform rules include:
1. Uniforms should be clean and unwrinkled.
2. Shirts must be tucked in.
3. Rolled sleeves are prohibited.
4. Issued shorts are black shorts which must be worn at the waist (sagging is not
permitted).
5. A black belt must be worn; other colors are not permitted.
6. Shoes must be non-slip tennis shoes that tie, and they must cover your feet and
toes, as well as fit securely. Shoes may not be loosly worn or tied. There is no
specific color requirement for shoes.
7. Socks must be either black or white, and must be ankle socks. Colored socks are
not permitted. Crew or basketball socks are not permitted.
8. In cooler weather, an approved sweatshirt may be worn over your Team Member
shirt. Approved pants may also be worn. Approval is provided through Human
Resouces.
ID Card/Name Tag
Your ID card that you receive at orientation is used for multiple tasks and jobs within the
park:
a) Your ID card is used to log into any POS in the park (i.e., foods, admissions,
games & retail). In order for you to purchase anything inside the park, you will
need to put money on your ID card. **Please remember that Team Members are
NOT permitted to handle FUN Cards.** You can only put money on your ID Card
at Guest Relations or the Administrative Office. Your ID card never expires.
b) Your name tag must be worn at all times and on the right hand side of your shirt.
c) Upon separation of employement with Cliff’s, your ID card must be turned in to
HR.
d) All employees must wear a retractable clip with the ID card attached.
e) Damaged ID cards and/or name tags will be replaced free of charge. Lost name
tags and/or ID cards will be subject to a replacement charge.
Contact with the Media
Employees should refer all media inquiries regarding Cliff’s Amusement Park and its
operations to the General Manager. Only the General Manager is authorized to make
or approve public statements on behalf of Cliff’s Amusement Park. Employees are not
authorized to make statements on behalf of or as a representative of the Cliff’s.
Personal Mail and Telephone Calls
In general, Cliff’s Amusement Park facilities are available only for Company business.
Except for emergencies, personal mail, e-mail, and telephone calls should be handled
outside of working hours. While we recognize that personal situations arise that must be
taken care of during work hours, excessive personal phone use or emailing will result in
disciplinary action from your supervisor.
