to the side of the road and safely stop the vehicle before placing or accepting a call and/or
use a hands-free devise such as a bluetooh. Special care should be taken in situations
where there is traffic, inclement weather or if you are driving in an unfamiliar area. If you
are charged with traffic violations resulting from the illegal use of any cell phone while
driving, all liabilities that result from such actions are solely your responsibility. Violations
of this policy may result in discipline, up to and including termination.
Under no circumstances are employees allowed to place themselves at risk to fulfill
business needs.

Holidays & Time Away from Work
Holidays
Regular, full-time employees receive six paid holidays each year provided that the
holidays fall on a regularly scheduled workday. These holidays are as follows:
• New Year’s Eve
• New Year’s Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Day after Thanksgiving
• Christmas Eve
• Christmas Day
• Changes in these holidays may be announced at the discretion of management.
Unless their absence receives prior approval from their supervisor, nonexempt
employees must work their scheduled workday before and after the holiday in order to
be paid for the holiday.
Employees may take time off to observe other religious holidays, through Cliff’s two
week prior approval process, however they must use Vacation Benefit Days (VBD), if
it is available or take unpaid time off.
All full and part time employees and seasonal employees are expected to work
holidays that the park is open unless otherwise approved by management.Part time
and seasonal employees are not eligible for holiday pay.
Upon termination, employees are not paid for remaining holidays.
Accrual and Payment of Vacation
Regular, full time employees will receive five days (5) and managers will receive two
weeks (10 days) of paid vacation after one year of full-time employment.
