Intercoms
Our intercoms are located throughout the park for your convenience. Your Supervisors/Managers will
familiarize you with all the intercoms and their locations within your department. Always use the intercom
closest to your station/post. Dial “200” for Base/Communications for assistance.
Tips
Team Members are NEVER permitted to accept money, food, tickets, souvenirs or any other tips from Guests,
no matter how insistent they are. You may suggest that the Guest can fill out a comment card at Guest
Relations to recognize you or your outstanding service.
Soliciting
Team Members are prohibited from soliciting or distributing literature to other TEAM MEMBERS and/or
GUESTS during their working time or during the working time of the person being solicited or receiving
literature.
Weather
The Park will be open regularly scheduled hours, unless the weather is severe. In the event of inclement
weather, NEVER assume that Cliff’s will be closed. You are required to report to work unless otherwise
notified. If the park closes, you will be notified by your supervisors via email.
Heat Safety
Employees need to keep in mind that we are an outside venue. You will be exposed to the sun and heat
throughout the day. It is best to ensure that you stay hydrated by drinking water or beverages that provide
electrolytes. Soft drinks may affect you by making you dehydrate faster. Please also ensure that sunscreen
should be worn while working.
Cash/ Merchandise Handling
You may be given the responsibility for the handling of cash, merchandise, equipment and/or FUN Cards,
which are company assets. You will be trained how to properly handle these assets
Theft
Our definition of theft includes, but not limited to, the following:
● To take or carry away cash or merchandise without right or PERMISSION.
● Removal from Cliff’s premises of tools, equipment, supplies, or any company items.
● Failure to collect the appropriate amount of cash and/or FUN Card value, coupons or prizes, food
items, or merchandise.
You are NOT permitted to give away or provide unauthorized discounts to co-workers or guests for food,
beverages, fun cards, wrist bands, rides, games, prizes or merchandise. Theft is considered a very serious
infraction. We WILL PROSECUTE anyone caught STEALING to the full extent of the law.
Visiting
Please do not allow Team Members to VISIT with you while you are on duty.
Emergency Phone Calls
Phone calls will be allowed for emergencies ONLY; you may ask your supervisor to use the phone in Guest
Services.
