High On Hope Tim Craft

Tim Craft has opened Angels’ Harbor, a Christ centered
recovery facility for drug addicted women in Vincent,
OH. He also pastors The Reach United Church on
Staunton TPK in Parkersburg. Since Tim came to the
Mid Ohio Valley, he has committed himself to rescuing
those who are held captive by addiction. He and his
wife Abby, both former addicts, know that Jesus is the
ONLY way out of that lifestyle and are leading the way
to recovery.

Young Life Kirk Wilson

Young Life’s mission is to introduce adolescents to Jesus
and help them grow in their faith. We are an
outreach ministry that equips Christian adults to enter the
world of unbelieving kids to share our lives
and the gospel.
We have three groups of students. Young Life, also the name
of our high school outreach, has a group at Parkersburg
South. We took kids to a camp in VA last summer, have a
small group meeting weekly for a Bible study, and are beginning a new year of
our large group outreach meeting called club.
YoungLives is our outreach to pregnant and teen moms. They meet every other
week for club and have a small group Bible study on Zoom on the off weeks.
They had a great camp trip this summer. We are mentoring a number of girls.
WyldLife, outreach to middle school students, is still in its startup phase at
Jackson Middle School.
We have three new leaders that will being a small group Bible study in September
Special Projects:
1. YoungLives. They feed the moms and babies. Our church could take a week to
prepare and serve the meal. They also need childcare so let us know if you would
like to hold a baby while a mom hears about Jesus.
2. Alongside MOV Grant – YL is currently in a grant program where we receive
money for sharing our story. We get paid for 8 meetings a month. If you want
to meet for coffee or lunch to hear our story it would be a big help! The grant
ends in February.
