HIGH FLOW VALVE PACK

The Fugro High Flow Valve Pack is an electro-hydraulic
valve pack system capable of supplying controlled
high flow hydraulic power to any tooling.

The High Flow Valve Pack is a 4 station valve pack with each station
providing bi-directional output (A & B port) with variable flow and pressure.
Each of the 4 hydraulic outputs can deliver up to 90 litres per minute (LPM)
oil flow while the output pressure can be adjusted up to system pressure.
Where higher flow rates are required outputs can be paired together for
example to supply 2 stations of up to 180 litres per minute (LPM).
The High Flow Valve Pack is typically mounted to a ROV and is able to Inlet Ports
transmit data to the surface laptop through the ROV umbilical by means of
a RS465 – multi-drop data link. This data link allows additional valve packs
to be connected in series without the need for an additional data link to the
surface. A surface laptop can be supplied with proprietary user interface
software allowing easy access to control each hydraulic function and to be
able to monitor feedback from the subsea unit. The valve pack can also be
integrated with the FCV control system allowing control through the ROV
touch screen control system.
A Fugro proprietary PCB-135 is used to control the valve pack, this board
also provides feedback for output pressure, system pressure as well as for
system diagnostics.
