SKID CONTROL VALVE PACK

The Fugro Subsea Technologies Skid Control Valve
Pack is a powerful electro-hydraulic control system,
able to supply controlled hydraulic power, sensor
inputs, camera control and variable lighting channels.

The Skid Control Valve Pack is an 11 station valve pack with each station
providing a bi-directional output (A & B Port). 10 of the stations are NG3
Solenoid Valves providing 15LPM of flow. The 11th station is a fully
proportional (pressure and flow) NG6 valve capable of supplying up to
32LPM. In addition to valve control, it is able to read measured torque
and turns count data from a Torque Tool and display the output on either High quality aluminium and stainless steel
a surface laptop which can be supplied with the valve pack or via the construction
FCV ROV control system. Up to 4 cameras and 2 LED lights can also be
connected and controlled by the system.
The Skid Control Valve pack is typically mounted to a ROV Skid, TDU or
ROV and is able to transmit data to the surface through the ROV umbilical
by means of a RS485 – Multi-drop data link. This data link allows additional
valve packs to be connected in series without the need for an additional
data link to the surface.
A surface laptop can be supplied with proprietary user interface software
allowing easy access to control each hydraulic function and to be able to
monitor the comprehensive diagnostic feedback from the subsea unit. The
valve pack can also be integrated with the FCV control system allowing
operation through the ROV touch screen control system. A surface laptop can be supplied with proprietary
