his brother, Attorney General Robert Kennedy became
staunched supporters of Martin Luther King. This
solidified the hearts and allegiances of millions of black
citizens; many of whom were enduring the violence
from mobs, from police dogs, and from high pressure
fire hoses, despite their peaceful marches. Thus, despite
the horrid century and the long track record that
Southern Jim Crowe Democrats had sown, the justice
that was administered by President Kennedy won the
hearts of Black America.
Thus, despite the GOP’s century long record of
unrelenting tenacity for abolishing slavery, securing
voting rights of former slaves, and leading the passage of
the very critical Civil Rights legislation of the 1950s-60s,
with one critical flub (The Compromise of 1877) and
another sleeping blunder, the GOP forfeited its hard
earned century of faithfully upholding GOD’s demand
for mercy and justice (Micah 6:1-8). These flubs proved
to be the good fortunes of Democrats.
What remained to seal this new legacy for Democrats
was the task of erasing and transforming their justly
earned image of slavery and Jim Crowe to an image as
the sole champions of justice and equality. What we
shall see is that “race” became the super-weapon that
not only restored their original image, but also is now
the lever that Progressive Democrats are using to
transform America into a Marxist-Socialist State.
