The most important aspect revealed in HIS Word is the

finished work of CHRIST which includes total
reconciliation. We discussed this in Chapter 10. Living in
that reconciliation is an essential feature of HIS Agenda.

We do not need to pray for it. We need to receive it and
live it. Furthermore, we are entrusted to lead the world

in this area. This requires embracing HIS Kingdom
Agenda. Practically, this requires the Church Body to be

radically counterculture. Following are some Spiritual
strategies with corresponding practical applications.

Respond like Kingdom People – Be angry and do not sin;
do not let the sun go down on your anger and give no

opportunity to the devil, Ephesians 4:26-27.
We discussed this precept earlier, but it merits

repeating: Do not respond like the world when an
incident occurs. Avoid “jumping on the band wagon.”

Pause and seek the truth about an event before
responding, then respond with a “GOD said” mentality.

Often the truth of a situation is not evident until days or
sometimes weeks after the occurrence. My dear

brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should
be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become
angry, James 1:19 (NIV).

Pray for direction and wisdom. Pray for everyone

involved in an incident. That includes police officers, and
