indifference of the High Courts of the Jim Crowe era and
today’s High Courts.

The Courts of that era remained silent as Jim Crowe laws

wreaked havoc on the Civil Rights freedoms of the 14

and 15 Amendments. Had they stood firm and acted to
uphold the Constitution, Jim Crowe could have been
stopped at its inception. Similarly, today’s High Courts

have thus far remained silent while assaults are being
levied on Free Speech and Expression, Religious Liberty,

and the Right to Bear Arms. These assaults are making a
mockery out of America’s “Bill of Rights”.

The consequences of the high court’s failures were that
the short-lived rights and freedoms of former slaves

rapidly collapsed into a new misery of indentured
servitude.

Starting from the late 1870’s and extending into the 21
century, blacks were frequently arrested with little

cause. They were often given poor legal representation
and sentenced to years of forced labor that was

drenched with blood, sweat and tears. This period
enforced a new form of slavery. That condition has led

to present-day conflicts seeking to drastically reform law
enforcement policies and procedures for policing and
arrest.
