Reverend King’s leadership was anchored in the

principle that GOD’s Love will endure to defeat hate. Dr.
King led with an extraordinary gift to persuade many
through the appeal of GOD’s compassion on humanity.

Many evangelicals of that time listened because his
words echoed the certain will of GOD. His adherence to

non-violence motivated people to want to change.
Reverend King led all people, who respected the innate

rights of humanity, to recognize the human dignity of
black citizens – many of whom were descendants of

slaves. His leadership did much to improve human
            conditions from his time forward.

The Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr.’s mission was also
aided by President John F. Kennedy, who stood firmly

with Reverend King’s plan for restoration. President
Kennedy frequently spoke to the nation during this

difficult period. Like Reverend King, he spoke with
remarkable eloquence and unmistakable moral clarity.

His persuasiveness was so great that all people who
valued truth and revered GOD’s ways recognized that

time was long overdue for honoring the dignity and the
rights of all humanity – particularly descendants of
            slaves.

As a result of the leadership and labor of Reverend

Martin Luther King, Jr. supported by the advocacy of
