Corruption of Bribery

Chapter 6 : Corruption in the “Carbon World”

 Sacrificing virgins could be a breach of their human rights, especially if they were from a
minority group such as the Lib‐Dems
 Those passed over for sacrifice could claim for discrimination
 Sacrifices are difficult to tax

                                                              7
Even if these four impediments could be removed , it would still be impossible to publicise the
“initiative”, thereby reducing its effect, because the Data Protection Act or some sort of super
injunction would intervene. So that’s why in the UK we have the Climate Change Act and now you
               know.

               1.2 Objectives of This Chapter
This Chapter’s objective is to assist companies better understand the risks of fraud and
corruption in the “Carbon World” and what they should do about them and, on the journey,
expose how, where and why academic, scientific and political corruption happens, the link
between them, and why the Bribery Act is an irrelevance in the bigger picture of corruption. The
Chapter also tries to set out – in one place – the silos of influence and “science” driving “global
warming” and how they have been corrupted. It is an example of corruption at the highest
               levels.

“Carbon leakage”, which is a euphemism for transferring industry from developed countries as a result of
emissions control to undeveloped countries – such as China, India and Korea‐ that are free to emit whatever they
want. It is estimated to have already cost 3 million American jobs.

               1.3 A Caveat
The “Carbon World” is rapidly evolving – especially since the collapse of the Kyoto Protocol (see
page xx). The following analysis is believed to be accurate – on such things as the organisations,
laws and regulations involved ‐ at the time of writing. This is not to say that every detail will apply
at the time of reading, but it should not be far off the mark.

For readers who like to know the end of a story without having to wade through the detail, the
lesson is simple. It is to “enter the Carbon World” only with the greatest care, with eyes fully
open and making sure commercial decisions are not perverted by a “noble cause” that may not
be turn out to be so virtuous after all.

               1.4 Eyes Glazing Over
The first problem with “global warming” is that too many people and businesses accept the
frame (see Chapter 1) in which is it presented. Eyes glaze over and shoulders shrug over a
paranormal that seems beyond comprehension. But since “global warming” is supposedly
endorsed by an “overwhelming consensus of the world’s leading climate scientists” questions
are not asked. “Christ: they are scientists: Innit?”
