5 SITE ALLOCATION

AWVC canvassed site owners and various times between 2012 and 2015 for potential
development sites. Weald properties volunteered the northern car park (of 0.08 hectares)
and this was assessed as Site 14 AW10 and SHLAA 757. But rejected for development. The
map of sites assessed for the Sustainability Appraisal shows the limited size of the site and that
the major part of Wealden House was never put forward for development nor assessed.
