Koch, theCity is a good risk when it comes to credit.In the Department of General Servicesnewsletter, Koch states that in one month in1985, 91 percent of the 15,625 invoices forsupplies, materials, and equipment purchased by the City had been paid within 30days.Koch says that the quick payments areacross the board in each of the agencies, including those who paid more than 300 supply invoices in a month. Koch said those 11agencies paid 65 percent of the bills within30 days, but 95 percent had been paid within60 days. Across the city, 98 percent of allthe invoices were paid within 60 days.
