SAFETY / QUALITY MOBILIZATION INFRASTRUCTURE
◆ Site Access Controls: Instrumental to the success of Mega Projects will be our ability to manage effectively
all who enter our project work areas. Ensuring all are properly oriented, badged, etc. requires elevated
controls such as perimeter fencing/gate controls early in the project, single-point man gates and similar.
◆ Signage/Postings: The messaging related to our practices and expectations need to be visible
throughout the project and work areas. We propose enhancing the use of signage, postings
and centralized gathering areas for weekly project-wide communications and training
demonstrations. Budgets should be established to support this increased visibility.
◆ Conference/Support Space: Consideration should be made to provide large space for SQ administration.
This space would be exclusive to SQ and support orientation space, offices, document controls and supplies.
SAFETY / QUALITY ORIENTATIONS / BADGING:
Project required orientations will be developed and administered by SQ site team. A project-
specific orientation comprised of BOTH safety & quality expectations will be provided. This
orientation is in addition to the SafeMatters detailed orientation requirement.
Upon completion of the orientation(s), a project badge/ID will be provided
which is required to access the work areas of the project.
SAFETY IMPLEMENTATION TEAMS (LABOR)
Haskell will maintain a dedicated labor force to address miscellaneous SQ issues as they arise that are
gaps in scopes, items not promptly addressed by trade partners and similar. This implementation team will
report to safety exclusively and have the tools and equipment necessary to maintain the project.
