diately after the adjournment of the open meeting, the Conven
tion woidd go into Executive session.

                                    SECO N D E X E C U T IV E SE SS IO N .

                           P r e s i d e n t S t r o n g : The meeting will please come to order.
The next thing in order is new business. I presume there is noth
ing to come before the meeting under that head.
The next is the discussion of special committee reports. I
think there is nothing in that line.
The next thing after that is the election of officers. Is the
Chairman of the Nominating Committee present?

                          Mr. F a r o c h a r : Your Nominating Committee begs to offer
the following list of names as nominees for the ensuing term :
                               For P r e s i d e n t .................................E. E. S tr o n g
                               First Vice President . . . . \Y. A. Som ers
                               Second Vice Pres'.d/nt . . . A lf r e d M a r s h a l l
                                                                      C. A. S t r e l i n g e r
                             Executive Committee
                                                                      Geo. T. M c I n to s h
It is the opinion of your Committee that these gentlemen
have done such good work and accomplished so much during the
short term that it is for the best interest of the Association that
they should be re-elected for another year.
                          P re s id e n t S t r o n g : For myself I wish to say that I came
here with the distinct understanding that I would not serve as
President the second year, but three or four gentlemen urged me
so strenuously, and feeling myself that the Association was not
quite where I would like to see it, I promised I would not decline
or resign if I had the unanimous support of the Convention.
I presume you wish to vote upon these names separately.
                          M r. M c I n to s h : I would like to call attention to the By-
Laws that the members in open meeting can make other
                     nominations.
