readily imagine.
I wish to thank the members for their hearty support in
sending out letters to various manufacturers, and for their as­
sistance whenever called upon. The method of bringing the
attention of manufacturers to our Association has certainly been
very effective.
Among other things we might mention that of set and cap
screws, which seemed to resist every effort on our part to make
an impression, and on which the manufacturers finally made a
concession. 1 have no hesitancy in saying that this change was
brought about entirely through the efforts of this Association.
