With the immense amount of advertising that this Asso­
ciation has received, and the very evident interest, which is grow­
ing rapidly, shown by the manufacturers, this Association can,
within the next two years, demonstrate to every supply dealer
:md machinery dealer in this country its influence. I know that
because 1 have seen it develop from indifference on the part of
I lie manufacturers to a decided interest. There is no manufac­
turer of note who is not willing to do business with this Associa­
tion, as he must realize that the Association is for bettering con­
ditions.
There is just one thing more I wish to say. I realize that
you were all very busy the past year, and that the Secretary did
not receive as many suggestions or complaints as expected. I
would suggest that each of you arrange some method by which
complaints and suggestions may be sent in to the Secretary of
this Association. I realize that of course the Association is new,
and you have not yet gotten into the habit of it, but get the habit
as soon as possible. It is a tremendous help to the Secretary, and
means a great deal to the Association. (Applause.)
