                            Grant Newsham is a retired U.S. Marine Corps Colonel and a
                            distinguished military and international security expert. He
                            served as the Deputy Director of Intelligence for the Marine Corps
                            Pacific Forces and twice held the position of Marine Attaché
                            at the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo. Having lived in Tokyo for over 20
                            years, he also held executive roles at a Western investment
                            bank and prominent U.S. high-tech companies. His extensive
                            experience in the Asia-Pacific region has provided him with a
                            deep understanding of the region’s military and security issues.
                            Additionally, he is a lawyer with expertise in international trade,
                            public international law, and criminal law. After retiring, Newsham
                            has worked as an international security and military analyst,
                            serving as a Senior Fellow at the Center for Security Policy (CSP)
                            in Washington, D.C., and at the Japan Forum for Strategic Studies
                            (JFS), providing policy advice. He currently serves as the President
                            of KCPAC.
