The United Arab Emirates has claimed the top global spot in Customer Service for express mail
and received the Gold Performance Award for 2024, recognition presented by the Universal

Postal Union through its Express Mail Service Cooperative.

The awards were announced at the official meeting ahead of the 28th Universal Postal

Congress – Dubai 2025, which the UAE is hosting from September 8 to 19. Emirates Post, the
country’s official postal service provider, earned the accolades for its excellence in operational

efficiency, international networks, responsiveness, and strict adherence to delivery schedules.

Performance evaluations showed exceptional results, with service indicators ranging from 95 to

98 per cent across all stages, from shipment receipt to final delivery and post-delivery support.
