Geneva, The Gulf Observer: The United Arab Emirates and the United States of
America have signed a Joint Statement of Intent to launch a bilateral cooperation
programme aimed at expediting patent granting procedures in the UAE. The signing
took place on the sidelines of the 66th Assemblies of the Member States of the World
Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva.
