The Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) has entered into a strategic partnership with Dertour Group, a renowned German
tourism promotion company, marking a significant milestone in Ajman’s efforts to expand its international tourism footprint. The agreement
was formalised during a promotional roadshow held in Germany and witnessed by Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director-General of ADTD.
This partnership aims to strengthen Ajman’s visibility in key European markets — particularly Germany, Austria, and Switzerland — through
the implementation of innovative digital campaigns, tourism awareness events, and extensive media outreach. It also signifies a major step
towards Ajman’s long-term goal of diversifying its visitor demographics and enhancing tourism investment opportunities.
As part of the agreement, a dedicated representative office will be established in Europe to act as a direct communication channel between
ADTD, tourism agencies, and private sector partners. This initiative is expected to significantly boost collaboration and deepen engagement
with key players in the European tourism industry.
