facilities and mergers, where this is being worked through?
A: Yes, this can be done. We recognise we need to communicate more and that there has been a lack of
information from OneSchool. We are working with the PR and Communications manager to enlighten the
community on the vision and current projects.

TEACHING AND LEARNING DISCUSSION NOTES
• If a CA receives a comment from a parent about a teacher the first step is for the parent to speak to the
teacher about their concern, or the student’s concern. Unless the teacher hears about it, we cannot
expect them to change, showing they care for the student.
• When concerns are raised with a teacher the hope is that they will address the issue within about 3
weeks.
• Parents ultimately should go to the HOC or CSC if they are not happy.
• Regarding Canvass – parents will have been shown how to login using an app on their phone at one of
the next Webinars. If you are not a parent you cannot get a Canvas login. There has been suggestions of
the SLTs inviting parents to show them around Canvas.
TEACHING AND LEARNING QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Q: What is in place to support a student who struggles with the VC learning experience?
A: We believe this relates to how teachers teach and engage the students. Pedagogy first, then the tools.
