Q: How much should CA team members and/or directors get involved with IT and AV issues?

A: The CA Team can be as involved or uninvolved as they like. The IT Service Improvement Plan is in place to
address IT issues and provide IT support at a campus level and along with the support of the Aurora Team,
additional help is not particularly necessary. Every campus has a designated IT Coordinator who can work
with the State IT Leads to resolve IT issues. Alternatively, CAs are welcome to reach out to Scott Martin if
they aren’t getting the level of support required or expected. OneSchool supports openness and transparen-
cy and appreciates it when CAs inform the Team when there are issues.

Q: Is it worthwhile employing a fulltime IT guy across TAS? For on-the-ground support?

A: No, it wouldn’t be value for money as there aren’t a lot of tickets currently being logged by Tasmania.
While it is nice to have someone onsite, it would be far more cost effective to continue with local contrac-
tors. This could be reviewed half way through the year.

                                     FACILITIES DISCUSSION NOTES

            • Comments about the campus not being good enough are common. However, generally the spaces are
adequate with some updating and reconfiguring. There are several new buildings being built and when
other schools see them, they want the same.

            • There is no time limit for buildings as it is gradual and things are still evolving.
            • At OneSchool, we know what we are doing, and our design team are happy with the direction we are
               taking.
            • We frequently get questions like, “Is our campus good enough?” and “Will we get an upgrade?” If our
students are learning in the environments they have, there is no need to spend a lot of money on upgrad-
               ing these spaces.

            • Generally, campuses in Australia are pretty good. There is always room for upgrades, but these refresh-
               ments will happen in time.

            • If you want to begin a project, please reach out to our Team with your request. However, there is a mas-
sive influx of projects globally currently, so lead times are long.
            • Education is constantly evolving and so are our designs. A lot of people underestimate what goes into a
               design.
            • The RP Team make sure the education side is incorporated in the design.
