Hawaiian Scarlet Red on White 1930s or 1940s. eBay purchase. 79"x80" Fabric: Cotton. Batting: Light to
medium-weight cotton. Backing: Classical 1930s or 40s cotton print pale green with pink apple-blossom
type flowers. Edge: Red, machined and top-stitched on the front. Quilting: In lines parallel to the motifs in
lines ½" apart by hand, 6 stitches per inch. Condition: Very good but does not lie flat; edge waves due to
differential shrinkage. Lightly soiled near the edge. Comment: "Vintage traditional," per seller.
