Pineapple Log Cabin with 7½" Beard Protector No later than 1940s. Purchased in Issaquah, WA antique mall
in 1998 or a couple of years earlier. 70"x72" Fabric: Wool, cotton, a rare silk. Batting: Batting is somewhat
unusual for log cabins, but his one appears to have cotton batting. Backing: Navy blue textured wool blan-
ket. Edge: Tape ¼" on each side applied by hand. Piecing: By hand. Quilting: Tied. Condition: Excellent.
Comment: I bought this before online shopping became so available and brought prices down.
