               Quilts, date from the late 1800s to 1920s. eBay purchase 2014. 83½"x94" Fabric: Cotton. Batting: Light.
               Backing: Cotton, pink. Edge: The back is brought to the front ¼" and caught by hand. Piecing: By machine.
               Quilting: By hand, 8 stitches to the inch, in a different pattern in each stripe. Patterns include chains, dia-
               monds, triangles, semi-circles and zig-zags in parallel lines an inch apart. Condition: Very good; excellent
               except for a 2" patch of fading in one dark green. Comment: Highly collectible for Mennonite source and
               for pattern.
