Irish Chain in Red, Signed and Dated 1908. Purchased at Seattle area antique show 2011. 71"x83" Fabric:
Cotton. Batting: Cotton. Backing: Cotton muslin. Edge: Red tape applied by zig-zag sewing machine, so a
restoration. Piecing: By hand. Quilting: By hand, 1" square grid, 5 stitches to the inch. Condition: Very good.
Comment: Signed and dated in embroidery in one corner.
