Amish Triple Irish Chain Per seller, 1930s vintage. eBay purchase. 82½"x 85½" including the 1" scallops on
each edge. Fabric: Cotton. Batting: Light weight and flat. Backing: Off-white cotton. Edge: Scallops (not seen
in photo) inserted in turned-in edges and stitched by hand. Piecing: By machine. Quilting: By hand in black
thread in a straight-line pattern through diamonds on the diagonal through "chains" in an 8-petaled daisy
with pointed petals in blue patches, and in oxbow shapes in the extra borders on two sides. Condition: Very
good. Has been washed at least once. Comment: The seller said nothing about it being Amish, but it has
every hallmark.
