Irish Chain in Pink and White 1930s. Purchased in Bellevue WA antique shop in 1987 or 1988. 66"x84" Fab-
ric: Cotton. Batting: Cotton with some debris. Backing: White cotton. Edge: Straight grain ¼" wide hand
applied. Piecing: By machine. Quilting: By hand 6 stitches to the inch, compass flowers over the checkered
areas and wreaths with center grids over the white blocks. Two-stranded braids in each border. Condition:
Excellent.
