               Irish Chain Dark Wool Trip Around The World Variation. Early 1900s. Antique show purchase prior to 2011.
               72"x78" Fabric: Most of the dark patches and all the red and green are wool. The remaining dark patches
               and the tans are cotton. Batting: Thick. Fiber content not known. Backing: Black and white gingham cotton
               flannel. Edge: Knife edge stitched by hand. Piecing: By hand. Quilting: Around each patch and in Xs in the
               border, 5 stitches to the inch. Condition: Very good, clean, no moth holes. Comment: Notice that the reds are
               pulled out of square by shrinkage, perhaps from cleaning?
