Triple Irish Chain, Jewel Box Variation 1930s. Antique mall purchase prior to 2003. 71"x87.5" Fabric: Cotton.
Batting: Thin cotton. Backing: Pink cotton. Edge: tape machine stitched to front and caught on back with
tiny, nearly invisible stitches. Piecing: Machine. Quilting: By hand in 1" grid in the center, in an elongated
diamond in the border, and around the cones. Condition: Excellent; a faint brown age stain appears in the
pink border near one corner.
